Wedding nails

A few weeks ago Lancôme hosted a wedding nails contest on Instagram.. They picked out 21 winners to receive their whole set of nail polishes from their wedding collection and I was one of them. I was so happy the day that they announced me as the winner!

Here are all the designs I created for their contest

This is the very first design I created for this contest. I chose to do this design because it looked so elegant without having to put too much effort into it. I didn't win 

This is the second design I created and it was my favorite of them all.. It was so feminine and elegant, and I thought I would win but of course I didn't win with this design.. Lol

This was the last one I created for Lancôme's contest and yes, it was the winning design. I was so surprised they liked this one over the last two I created.. But I was still so happy that they picked it :)

And here is the prize 

That night I went ahead and did my nails using some of these products (minus the glosses of course, lol)

I would totally rock these nails at my wedding! Would you?

A lil bit edgy but I will definitely rock these nails at the wedding

This was so inspired ArtEvolve.blogspot.com I was searching for galaxy pictures on google and I found this nail art, I just had to give it a try

This one was taken in natural light in the morning inside my house

This one was taken inside my DIY light box at night..

Wanderlust lacquer swatches and review

                                                                                                            
Hi all,
Today i have a few swatches from wanderlustlacquer to show you guys

First up, Cinderella. Its a beautiful creamy light blue holographic polish. This picture does no justice at all! Application was easy, this is three thin coats on its own. I had to take picture under the yellow light so that the holo can show better on my camera.

This one was taken in my DIY light box, you can see the difference of the holo goodness between this and the other one

Of course I had to add Cinderella on my ring finger.. It's been such a long time since I last drew her.. Not really pleased with the outcome but ehh..

Seashells is a white crelly base filled with large blue hex, medium neon yellow hex, matte purple hex, and tiny fuchsia dots. This is two thin coats over white

This is how it looks like in the bottle

This is my favorite of the bunch.. Dawn is a peachy orange glow in the dark polish.
I applied three thin coats on its own. And it dried matte

Can't have the matte effect on too long, lol, I had to add topcoat for a shiny finish.

I charged my nails under the lamp for a couple minutes and turned off the light.. Bam!!! It glowed so bright! Even brighter than shown here

Last but not least, Duchess is a purple thermal polish filled with iridescent glitters. It's purple on its normal stage and shifts to pink when it's warm

I dipped my nails in hot water to get the pink to show ( my room is still freezing as heck at this time of year)
